Accent Elevator

Measurement & professional installation

We survey every door pair and cab, template around panels and hardware, install door by door so the building keeps moving, offer off-hours work on request, and stay honest about how removal works when a campaign ends.

Installer smoothing a colourful graphic film onto an elevator door panel

Elevator graphics fail at the edges, and elevators are nothing but edges: panel reveals, door gaps, hardware, sensor lines, call plates, and trims that a graphic must respect precisely. So we start on site. A survey captures each door pair and cab panel at its true dimensions, with photos of the hardware and surrounding finishes to design against, and awkward panels get a physical template so the print matches the metal, not the floor plan. The artwork is then built to the survey, which is why our wraps meet the reveal instead of almost meeting it, and why the doors keep closing on a perfectly aligned image instead of a graphic that drifts a little more every week.

Installation in an occupied building is choreography as much as craft. We work door by door and cab by cab so the building keeps moving, coordinate scheduling with building management around your building's requirements, and off-hours and overnight installs are available on request so tenants never queue behind a ladder. Surfaces are cleaned and prepped, the film is applied and finished by installers who do this daily, and the cab returns to service the way it left it, just better dressed. When a campaign ends, we are honest about removal: how cleanly a film comes off depends on the material and how long it has been up, so we spec with the end date in mind and tell you upfront what removal will involve.

Frequently asked questions

Do you measure on site, or do we send dimensions?
Both work. We survey on site in the Montreal area; for properties farther out, we send a simple measuring checklist with photos to take, and we check your numbers before anything prints.
Can you install without shutting down our elevators?
We work door by door and cab by cab so the building keeps moving, and we coordinate every step with building management around your building's requirements. Off-hours and overnight installs are available on request.
Do the graphics come off cleanly afterward?
Films matched to a campaign's duration generally do, but removal depends on the material, the surface, and how long it was up. We spec with the end date in mind and tell you what to expect upfront.
Who coordinates with building management?
We do, with you: access rules, elevator scheduling, and any approvals your building's requirements call for are planned before install day, so the crew arrives to a building that expects them.
